I just used Google Maps to get me driving directions to the B&B from my house at Keele & Sheppard. Apparently the fastest way to Queen West from Downsview is via Guelph. 176 miles, 3.1 hours.

We can make this a Montréal meetup if you want. It'll just be in Toronto.

I'll have a drink for ya, Robot Johnny. And then I'll go frolic with the flash mob of drunken Santas (see Dr. John's link above). Although it's February... flash mob of drunken U.S. presidents?

jacquilynne and anyone else who's driving: in case you can't find parking on the street, there's a municipal parking lot not far from the Bishop & Belcher-- Queen and Augusta (on the West side of Spadina), right behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken (North side of Queen).

Guelph also has excellent municipal parking lots. Cheap, clean, safe. If you're in that area.

Not to derail your thread, but I visited Edmonton last year and returned to the states with the impression that Canadian parking lots were called parkades. Is that just an Alberta thing?
I'm curious. Oh, and I also wish you well for your meetup.

Butter. Butter. Butter.
Parkay!
Parkades? Never heard that one before.

A parkade is an indoor parking lot.
I'm from Western Canada originally, though, so that may be a regionalism.

DrJohn, dear, you owe me one windex cloth.
It's a good thing I merely spit Diet Dr Pepper all over my laptop, because I hear it hurts like a bitch when it comes shooting out your nose.

Jacqui, your best bet from Keele & Sheppard would be along Sheppard to the Allen, down the Allen to Eglinton, east on Eg to Avenue, straight down avenue to university, then hang a right on Queen.
See you guys in the basement tomorrow!

If I have the energy, I'll try to meet up with y'all post 9 pm at the Belcher. There'll be no clubbing for me...

Put me in the 80% category the well. I'm in the Great Eastern Suburb this afternoon/evening, not sure if I can make it to the B&B before ten. What time be the plan for going on the road to the next establishment? I'm in favour of pubbing, less so clubbing.

I'm not sure how big the clubbing contingent will be, phil, just judging from the responses in this thread. I'm also not sure what time dnab's planning on going to 5ive. Heck, I don't know anything. I just post here.
