For those wondering, Zeldman's site is down because he's hosted by a company called Internet Channel. (INCH, familiarly.) INCH's servers and connections are completely down.

Their main systems cage and Internet connection is in the enormous TeleHouse facility in the southernmost part of Manhattan. Its generators had been running off diesel fuel since the attacks, and now one of the generators has failed.

No word on how long it'll be out.

Yeah, this is way too much information, but I just had to put it up somewhere.
