Would an Ireland meetup be feasible? May 22, 2005 7:03 AM Subscribe
How many mefites are living in Ireland (ROI or NI)? is there enough to do a meet up?
I live in Ireland and am often in Galway and would be interested in meeting up over the summer.

Sounds good we need to organize this then... Thing is, we are in opposite directions of each other, I am in Cork. Where could we meet up for good craic?

Belfast, here. Though I expect most mefites would be in the Republic and I wouldn't travel that far.

Another Dub here. I'm in New York, but should be home a lot between now and the end of the year, so keep me in mind.

What is the best way to prevent the meetup idea from dying? Or determining when and where is best for everyone?

I suppose we should each vote for preferred location and then knowing where everyone stands make a decision, that suits most people. I vote Galway ...

Well most of us seem to be in Dublin and as there is a bus that goes from Cork to Dublin for only €12, my vote is for Dublin...
What do you all think of Wagamama for a meet up place?

Obvious. Stupid. Unfunny. I say this though you are obviously immune to criticism like any class clown and see no difference between negative and positive attention. Go away.
