Johnstown PA meetup for NAVS Summerfest June 30, 2005 6:48 PM Subscribe
Anyone in the Johnstown, PA area up for a meetup? This Sunday, 3 July? Anyone attending NAVS Summerfest? I'll be there. One mr soyjoy will also be in the area.
I doubt it's that no one wants to meet them, Commish. It's just that Jonestown meetups always end in tragedy.

So if it's just me and soyjoy, is it a meetup? Do we take photos and do shoutouts? Kind of a "tree falls in a forest" question..?

I wanted to be at NAVS but this weekend was already overscheduled for me, but I can be in Johnstown fairly easily, and a meetup would be spiffy if I schlep on down there. And hey, you can see me in all my pregnant vegetarian-but-not-at-the-summerfest glory!

Dreama, I'm sorry! I was already on the road to NAVS when you posted that! A meetup would have been great. Then again, I think soyjoy was on the road early afternoon Sunday, and I took off shortly after.
I can't recommend NAVS enough though. The food and people are incredible, as are the presentations and speakers. It was truly life-changing for me.

Hey, if anyone's still reading this, I only found out about this thread when I met Shane there at Summerfest. And I finally got back into town late yesterday.
Dreama, next time we'll either find a way to get you to Summerfest (hopefully along with others!) or we'll make a side trip. It was indeed a good time!
"mr soyjoy" doesn't work for me, though. If you must put something there, I prefer "senator soyjoy."

(It's not often that one gets to ruin an exceedingly rare no-MeTa-comment trifecta, so one should take the chance when one can, I always say)
