I was thinking tomorrow (Sunday, July 10), at the Crown & Anchor around 9. Any takers?

Oh, yeah! I almost forgot, the map is on the contact page. I'm also not so hard-set on the time, and I know some gotta work in the morning, so if you want to move it forward an hour or 2 just state your pref.

Dang. This is one I'd love to go to. With a bit of notice I can always get myself to Vegas.

We should do a MeFiCon out there sometime. Several months notice... Several days long... Someone could drive in a shipment of Costco-got booze, we could distribute schwag, reserve a block of cheap hotel rooms with wifi... we could call it "West by Southwest." Yeah!

scarabic, the first one already happened and was a lot of fun. But if someone else wants to organise #2, I'd be more than happy to drop down for it.

Yeah, I also think we should do another SinCityFilter Con. If we go for that, how does late September sound? If the support's there, I'll be more than willing to set things up. (I really wish we could do it along with DefCon, but alas the Army has plans for me this year at that time. It would also be short notice for out-of-towners.)

In the mean time, I'll be getting my beers on at the aforementioned location.

With enough notice I'd be eager to join a Las Vegas meetup/con/whatever. I have tentative plans to be in Flagstaff and I was planning to stop in Vegas on my way in and on my way out. Late September would be great. Early September would be okay, too.

Incidentally, I'm going to Vegas for the food. I'd be happy to have some pre-meetup/con dinner companions.

I'm playing sunday with my band so I can't make the C&A but if you get restless after a few pints and want to come to NY Cafe (flamingo/paradise) around 11 you can catch the show.
