First paragraph of initial post missing on comments page

I seem to be losing the first paragraph of the initial post when I click through to /comments.mefi/# (win98/IE6). Not a big deal, as I've already read it on the front page, but... thought I'd mention it. Ignore me if it's just a result of heavy traffic (or something I'm doing wrong).

This has been happening to me too, for the past couple days. Win NT, IE5.5. Also, everything after (and including) the last, non-title link appearing in the original post usually appears.

Thus, the original post sometimes looks like it read:

this article, which offers another perspective.

Interestingly, if I Preview a comment, the original post usually reappears.
