The sidebar (see Apr 12) featured this post, in which someone's seemingly obscure question was answered in just six minutes. I think MY experience was even more amazing (as my question was more obscure), though it did take Gator an hour and ten minutes to cough up an answer. What are some other AskMe Astounding Stories of Snappy Answers to Obscure Questions?

Infodump request: what is the largest number of (non-deleted) posts over the shortest period of time at MeFi (inspired by the recent 6 posts in 16 minutes, of which mine was one)? Were there any memorable incidents, accompanied by Mods going OMGWTFBBQ? And have we ever broken out what hours are generally the busiest for Mefi posts (and if so, why do I not remember)? How about similar data for Ask, MeTa, etc. if it's not a bad thing to be doing on a Friday afternoon (it probably is, forget I asked).

I think this is the solution to anyone on MeFi Music's problem of getting too-fast recordings. (it comes up from time to time, and people email me about it a lot, so I'm putting it here for reference)
