leave the title attribute as-is

The amazon link-rewriting thingie seems to strip out title="foo" attributes from <a> tags which link to amazon. Would it be possible to get it to leave the title attribute as-is? I would like to (manually) add a warning to amazon links, like title="(amazon link)" or similar.

Guidance on the correct use of AskMe's [more inside] field

Uhm, everyone using [more inside] in Ask MetaFilter sort of defeats the purpose if it and looks, err, bad, does it not? Is there anything to do about it?

There should be some room for frivolity and banter

Boo. There were a lot of fairly well-thought out and witty references to MetaFilter history, past and present, in that thread before it was closed to further comments and had its middle taken out.

Not every thread here should be a linear progression from a problem to a solution. There should be some room for frivolity and banter. Without it, we lose our sense of community and shared experience.

Discuss.
