Time for the Biannual Timezone Offset Shuffle
Daylight saving time is coming to end in Europe tonight. It is not coming to end in the US until next week. This means that if you live in a country that is doing the switch tonight, and you want posts and comments to show up in the correct local time, you'll need to adjust your site preferences. Extra hour needed for server offset for those of us in the future
Can we please have an extra hour added to the server offset options in our profiles to give +21? Now that all the time changes have shaken out for the summer I'm an hour off. [more inside]
MeFi Timezone Support
MetaFilter's front page now supports the display of posts by proper time zone. Set your offset on the customize page, then go to the front page (with the default date sort only at this time) to see the site customized for your part of the world. I'll be adding support for the comments and archives later today. MetaTalk, I'll eventually get to.
