End of another week, let's talk about something else that is not related to politics. In light of the recent Notre-Dame de Paris fire, I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can discuss other beautiful monuments/historical places from around the globe. Share with us places that you've visited in the past or would like to visit if given the opportunity. If you have old travel photos and feel comfortable sharing, all the better. Tell me about that place 'where everybody knows your name'. Maybe it's your local coffee house or a diner or a bar or the local yarn barn, whatever it is, wherever it is, this is the place where people know your name when you walk in the door. Maybe you have a place to sit that is always reserved for you. You might even have a coffee mug that only you use, or maybe it's as simple as knowing the entire staff.
