I Am Curious (Grey)
When posts are "bad" on Meta or AskMeta -- doubles, or inappropriate, or whatever -- they're deleted. When posts are "bad" here on MetaTalk -- like, questions that belong elsewhere, inappropriate posts like "can someone do a FPP about XYZ," and the like, they're closed instead of being deleted. My OCD is having trouble with this. So, why?
And what happens to bad posts on other parts of the site, like Jobs, Projects and Music?
Why is a question about wanting to meet people anonymous?
I'm sure there's a good reason for this, but I'd like to learn about it: why is this question about meeting people, with no embarrassing details that I can discern, anonymous?
I really wanted to say Reddit.

I get by with a little hope from my friends
Why do AskMefi users often use "hope" in place of "help"? [more inside]
why you are deleting

Why Oh Why
Why is THIS anonymous?
Why did you AskMe?
Memoryfilter? Since everyone else is doing it, I guess I'll ask: why is it that you need to ask other people if they remember that song/commercial/movie/cartoon/book/whatever? We all forget titles and names constantly. When/why do you make the decision to turn to AskMe for help? Do these questions pop up for specific reasons? Something other than "this has been driving me crazy?" No one ever says why they're trying to recall XYZ. Nostalgia? Checking to see if you dreamt it? What?
Why did a post get such a small response?
I'm wondering about the meaning of small response to a posting. Is it because there is no provocation and little to add, or because the post is uninteresting to most people?
