The username/logout bit aren't working for me on the blue.

The username/logout bit aren't working for me on the blue. Running the cursor over them looks like it can't detect they should hyperlink. Something to do with the Red Cross donation thing perhaps?

I just noticed the same thing. If you look at how it affects the other links in the titlebar you'll see that it is indeed the donation thing.

I'll probably get shot down for this but perhaps its time for it to go? Anyone that's going to donate will have done so by now.

I noticed this yesterday, didn't think it worth mentioning. I just made the text size huge so the link came out from under the floaty thing, clicked the one I wanted then shrunk the text again.

It's not a big deal though, is it? You can get to both of the links, unimpeded, by going to the MeTa homepage.

Is it 'not a big deal'? No, of course not. Worth pointing out? Sure. Anything that involves a mouse, clicking and staring at a monitor is 'not a big deal'. But the website, as designed, is broken in that one spot, and even though there are ways around the problem (as NinjaPirate points out), it should still be brought to Matt's attention. How do we do that? METATALK!

Just to clarify biffa, I wasn't directing my comment at you... rather, I'm making a general comment in response to standard "this isn't a big deal - look at my work-around and stop wasting our time" comments that these types of threads always seem to generate.

Seriously now, don't the English have a better term for 'playground'... like 'frolic yard' or 'toddle garden' or something. 'Playground' seems very, I dunno, "American english".

Don't think so, playgrounds are what kids play on in front of schools in the UK. Are you thinking of kindergartens? (I thought the US had those too?)
