Looking for a (deleted?) AskMeFi thread. One of the first responses sarcastically mentioned being annoyed at smudges on his gold bars...

Yesterday I visited AskMeFi and loaded up a bunch of interesting questions in separate Safari tabs. Reading through them later, away from the internet cafe, I came across one... I think the person was looking for a place to stay... the poster mentioned something like "(currently I'm xxx'ing at Columbia)" as their last line. One of the first responses lead with a bit of snark at how he found the smudges on his gold bars to be annoying.

Unfortunately I was a bit trigger-happy with the command-w command and closed the tab mistakenly. Searching today for "columbia" and/or "gold bar" I can't find it.

Was this question deleted? Or am I mistaken and actually the page I was looking at was from some other site?
