Illustrated architecture book post November 16, 2005 10:02 AM   Subscribe

Quite some time ago there was a FPP about a book, written in either Italian or Latin, that was heavily illustrated with fanstatic architecture that often had an erotic element. I've done several searches of the archives, but have come up blank. Does anyone else remember the post, or am I imagining it? Thanks

Was it the Codex Seraphinianus?

I don't have an FPP link for you, but could it have been the Hypnoteromachia Poliphilii?

Could also have been the Voynich Manuscript, discussed here in passing, here in some detail, and probably elsewhere.

It was the Hypnoteromachia Poliphilii. I'd bookmarked the Codex Seraphinianus and the Voynich Manuscript, but for some reason didn't get the Hypnoteromachia Poliphilii marked. Thanks everybody.
