Problems logging in under Opera December 14, 2005 7:53 AM Subscribe
I can't log in to AskMeFi using Opera. Logging in (it doesn't matter which login link I start with) gets me signed into Metafilter and Metatalk, but I still show as logged out in AskMeFi no matter how many times I log in.
Mozilla and IE work fine.

quonsar, if you're implying that this is a frequently asked and answered question, I can only reply that I haven't seen it asked or answered before. I can't find it in the MeFi Wiki. It's also not in the top results I get when searching for "Opera" in Metatalk.
However, I did just realize that I must actually be logged into AskMeFi after all, because the comment box (including my username) is present in the thread view. There's just the line at the top of the AskMefi page stating that I'm not logged in. Strange.
I'm using Opera 8.5, by the way.

... and I just noticed that Opera was acting flaky in some other ways too. I just restarted, and now everything's working fine. Never mind, I guess.
