Fire on the Bayou - Swamp Mefites and Mofites, come to our New Year's bonfire bash on the bayou, outside Lafayette. Fireworks, collard greens, cornbread and black-eyed peas. Drop me an e-mail for all the details.

I don't think anyone's suggested a meetup in Lafayette, yet. I figured since I'm already having a New Year's bash at my place, I'd invite everyone. Let's say goodbye this long, screwed up year and refine our evac plans for next hurricane season. We'll have the black-eyed peas and cabbage, and I usually do the I Ching.
