it's been stuck at 26434 for an awfully long time, hasn't it?

Since user 26436 exists, I'm going to assume that this bug is related to either this, or maybe just some general accounts deleted/accounts created but not activated via donation snafu.

Many users with user #'s greater than 26434 exist. But the counter's been stuck at that number for, it seems, months and months now.

I can't possibly be the only one who's noticed this, right? I'm probably just duplicating some older MeTa thread that I'm too shitty a searcher to find, right?
