Metadash

Not a complaint--just a question.

Why is it that new FPP's will show up on the Metadash widget about 5-10 minutes before they actually appear on Metafilter? I refresh, still not there, despite the fact I can read it on Metadash. Some sort of time machine?

The front page is cached every ten minutes, so sometimes it takes up until that long to show up. I'll check into it tomorrow to see if I can fix it to get the cache flushed on new posts, a couple weeks ago I made a change that seemed to break the old code and I couldn't figure out a fix that day.

Actually, I just forced it to flush once a minute instead of ten minutes, so things should show up faster.
