While the post is poorly put together, if everyone uses tags, abuse is drowned out by legitimate usage. I vote non-issue.

I took them out, it wasn't even a britneyspears tag but one for the first and last name separately which kind of renders the joke pointless.

All joking aside and in all seriousness, I've been mostly absent from MeFi for over a year, and I find it somehow comforting that the place is as "self-policing" and anal as ever. Consistency is good.
