Atom/RSS parse Error March 16, 2006 1:13 PM   Subscribe

since this morning i'm getting a parse error for the feed http://xml.metafilter.com/atom.xml (ff live bookmark feed)... but not for http://xml.metafilter.com/rss.xml (xml feed link in mefi sidebar)... just me (and/or my sage reader)? or is it a bug?

Unescaped angle brackets in the content field of the entry for thread 50111 are to blame.

specifically:

I fixed it. The poster put the first two tags into the URL description field along with the first few words. Apparently if you do that, they don't get escaped.

Yeah, this seems to happen to me in Safari's feed reader a couple times a month. Thanks for fixing it.
