NYC meetup 5/12-13/2006 with smoking

Could there be a NYC meetup, please? Please, can we, huh? Because I am a NYC newbie, and would like to meet you all.

Friday or Saturday would be good for me (May 12 / 13), and somewhere where it isn't a big hassle to smoke things.

I recently discovered a bar that has an outdoor back yard with couches - and ashtrays. It's on 54th st on the west side. But I think it might not be warm enough yet to meet there.

Also, it's a bit short notice....I can't make it either day this weekend.

On Thursday the 18th, Banjo and I will be in New York at Avalon to see Architecture in Helsinki.

We'll be about the city for two days after that...

This month is totally meetup crazy. I believe there are more Mefites coming to visit at the end of the month, too. Can't you all plan to come at the same time, so I only have to do one Meet the Noobs meetup?
