london meetup before I go home

Londoners: If you fancy another gig/meetup, I will be playing one last show before returning to the US this Friday evening, June 9th, @ The Garage.

Despite what the Garage page says, the doors are at 7:30 and we're onstage at 7:45. Here is the poster for the show. I'll soon have handbills that you can print for a discounted door price. If you enjoyed the other ones (and I know I did!) or wanted to make it but couldn't, I hope to see you on Friday.

It's not really charging for entry; it's charging (3.50 w/ a flyer) to see four bands.

My claim to fame: I was part of the team that re-designed & decorated the interior when the Mean Fiddler Group took it over. Not sure if 'Lubrication' & 'Oil Change' are still the signs above the bar & loos as it was about 14 years ago. And now I feel old :-(

Pity I can't make this one...MiFUK meetups & gigs seem to go hand-in-hand.

i_cola: OMG. The Garage is one of my favouritest, mankiest, least salubrious venues in all the world. I trust it wasn't your redesign that means the gents are converted into a running sewer by midnight every friday...

No it's changed since then. And apparently it's getting refurbished again very soon. But yeah, The Garage is ace. I'm really sorry I can't make this one.
