add url of textad to title October 22, 2001 8:00 PM   Subscribe

For those of us who have JS disabled, could you add the URI of textads to the title attribute? (I did mention this, but I think it got lost in the shuffle.)

Given that there is a known bug with setStatus() in the current version of Mozilla, putting the destination URL in either the title would be very helpful.

As an alternate choice, you could always add the destination URL as a dummy parameter of even as the username in the link:
http://www.metafilter.com/adsystem/redir.cfm?adid=42?url=www.adgoeshere.com
or
http://www.adgoeshere.com@www.metafilter.com/adsystem/redir.cfm?adid=42

(did they have to pay extra for ad number 42? :)

Although strangely not for all ads... some have a title attribute, but many don't.
