Yeah, I'm thinking about biting the head off of something or setting something on fire. We'll see.

Bite the head off something that's already on fire.

Ooh, that is too bad, Nice. I had a big batch of plaster to cast IIHAA's leg, but he decided not to break it. If you had broken your leg soooner, you could have used the plas. . . oh.

Oh dear, I hope a broken leg isn't as bad for donkeys as it is for horses.
Cranberry, when you invited us here you made no mention it was a plaster party. I would have changed my plans.

*watches own funeral; muses about death, life, the impermanence of all things, blueberry scones and jam, coffee, cats, the meaning of time, multidimensionality, artificial intelligence, whether to call it "farfalle" or "bowtie", pollen allergies, mankind, donkeykind, sugar cubes*

Don't be sad, Nice Donkey. Even good things must end. Only the longboat is gone - the crew have signed on to other ships and will live forever, better for their year maintaining the legend of the longboat.
Have a languagehat special sugar cube and remember the surreal times aboard the good ship 9622. We will always know each other without a special wink or handshake.
Why didn't we establish a special or handshake? Next time, eh?
Note that the raedyn tiaras were not in the funeral pyre. Cherish yours proudly.
