But would the Deck allow advertising on sites with HORSE COCK?

Ewww:

(a)Well, is there a problem with the current advertising content?

(b) Do we need "premier advertising network for reaching web and design professionals"? You're making an assumption that "web design professionals" make up the population of metafilter users. Maybe it's just me, but I think we're a lot more diverse than that.

(c) "there are only ten advertising spots available each month for the entire Deck. " How boring. Repetition is good advertising now?

(d) This advertising appears not to be context-sensitive. Which is so 2001.

Example of a Deck ad. Shopify? Pur-leese.

That was the demographic here 4 or 5 years ago, definitely. These days, I suspect less so.

Yes, and then every time a new site joined the Deck, someone could do a FPP on it. (That seems like what every other Deck site does.)

Why would you think it would be a good fit exactly?

I talked to them about it a few months ago. You have to drop your other ads so only The Deck ad shows up, and the money didn't justify dropping the other ads so I didn't do it.
