And it's yours. Is there a better sign you're spending too much time on MetaFilter?

Googling pachacha. Is that lewd?

Filling up MetaTalk with useless drivel?

Your girlfriend begs you to stop calling her into the room everytime you read another pithy comment posted by the person she now refers to as "your Portuguese boyfriend."

Too much time on Mefi, never! And for what it's worth, Migual, I don't consider your posts "useless drivel."

Another sign: having to get permission to post within 24 hrs.... thanks Matt

Another sign, Rastafari:trying to figure out if Skallas's request for one-a-day posts instead of one-every-24-hours would allow us an extra post now and again.Oh, and having your user profile hacked not by enemies, but by those who would wish you well, if only you'd post a lot less.
(From your colleague in those damn useful HTML tutorials, with respect)

Dagnabbit, Miguel. Enough with the finger-pointing! Besides, pretty much everyone saw your password (which was pretty nasty, no?).
posted by Avogadro at 1:35 PM on October 25, 2001

Avogadro, you're a generous man. A good man. Someone I owe a lot to, as a reader, and quite a bit too, as a member. But, well... dagnabbit, man! So I shouldn't have given out my password. But I did it out of generosity. And my thanks? Giving you a lot of trouble; getting a dirty e-mail from the WSJ; having my user profile doubt my gender and integrity and, worst of all, realizing it took all this humiliation to finally learn my favourite word for the next few hours.
Dagnabbit Do you have any idea how good this word is?
Dagnabbit, Avogadro, there is no such thing as a nasty password! And when will you clean up my hacked user profile, dagnabbit!?

P.S.
Speaking of damn rabbits, just try poking this guy too fast...

there is no such thing as a nasty password!

Until you share it with the world.

"New MetaTalk! Now with idle chatter!"

"New MetaTalk! Now with idle chatter!"

The urge to point out the obvious reply to this is almost overpowering.

Almost.

Why doesn't everyone just conference call each other on the telephone instead of filling up MetaTalk threads with cute patter? Or go out to a bar with friends or something?

Life away from the computer....remember it?

ColdChef, you made my day. My husband is getting tired of coming and reading over my shoulder.

You just keep posting Miguel.

Perhaps Matt could build a MetaChatRoom for Miguel and his admirers, with a seductive background and some romantic font.

C'mon, folks ... if people didn't post things like this, how would you all fill up your daily bitching quotient? He's doing you a favor ...

And Miguel, I chuckled when I saw this. That's enough for me. Keep it up.

For you, discussions about Miguel have subtle nuances.

Wait, didn't the old y6y6y6 have sarcasm? I swear it did! Dagnabbit, I want my money back!
