Blogathon tomorrow

Blogathon is tomorrow! Frykitty's project currently has 373 participants and pledges totalling over $66,000 for charity. Dobbs will be wrestling the blogathon to the fucking ground. I'll be writing about funny money. Any other mefites participating?

I'm not crazy (or nearly read) enough to blog, but I did throw in a track for dobbs' shindig; so have The Harvey Girls, and Fake, and possible other mefite music acts that I've missed.

This also puts me (if I didn't misremember or outright hallucinate this) at a delightful one degree of separation from prior dobbs-music-contributor Guided By fucking Voices. And shit yeah it's cool.

We go on a case-by-case basis. Not usually, though. Most sponsors want to give even if their blogger drops out, and we surely aren't going to stand in their way.

dersins, to be clearer: Oneida didn't want to drop out but had a rights issue with the track they were going to donate (it is out of print and they don't own the rights). Unfortunately, they're on the road and can't get me something for a couple more weeks so I had to decline.
