You've got to be fucking kidding me. On what grounds is this a possible call out? If it's a DP (which I can't find it FPP'd before--though it's been linked and MeTa'd as "metafilter related") then fine, delete it.

But Devoter is exactly the type of site MeFi was created to link to, imo. I don't give a shit how old it is or if it's been heard of by y2karl and others.

I'm wondering whether it would have been more appropriate to link to it through Projects and not in the Blue? I'm not agreeing with the callout but its not a community weblog by any stretch of the word now and is a work in progress towards that goal.

But boy howdy could I have used it back around the last elections!

I was actually thinking of a callout on y2karl for shitting all over the thread because that is far more annoying.

jca, I hope you've got your declaration of war against MeFi post all ready to go!

jca, it looks that way from the front page verbiage but on the Read More about MeFi Projects it says
"What is MetaFilter Projects?
It's a new section of the site devoted to self-linking, that is, letting members announce their projects to other members of the site."

Perhaps I am wrong though, it's been known to happen.

What do other folks think?
