Going to be in Austin for ACL fest (Sept 15-17.) I must meet all you wonderful Austin Metafiltarians.

I'm here, but I avoid ACL like the plague. But a meetup would be great, hopefully somewhere out of the way like the Draughthouse, or even better somewhere in East Austin (near me) like Longbranch Inn.

And if anyone needs a place to stay, I have a couch and some floor space. Two people is probably the max, but three wouldn't be out of the question.

i'm down for a meetup as well. like spiderwire, i'll be avoiding the acl itself.

spiderwire, what's this longbranch inn of which you speak? i work just east of 35, on 5th street, at a very small company. we're often sorely in need of an after-work drinking place that's not on south congress or 6th street.

I'm a big fan of both Longbranch & Draughthouse.

I'll be there all three days (driving from Florida) with a few friends who are not on MetaFilter. So I'll watch this thread for any updates and if we can make it, I'll bring them along.
