Also, does anyone have a new head? My one isn't working properly this morning.

Yay, photies! (Although I think need to change all instances of louigi to adrianhon.)

My photos are stuck on my stupid camera with its stupid proprietary cable that I can't stupid find.

I added a couple to the pool this morning from my soooopa-high-quality camera phone. And, yeah, it should be adrianhon

The picture that cillit bang took of me is breaking Aperture.

However, I should have everyone cropped and exposed as best I can shortly.

Also added them to the pool.

Chrismear, I snuck into your flat and removed said cable on the grounds that yours are the more incriminating shots...of me that is!

I'm the one with the crazy black hair. Waiting for sueinnyc's photos... how late did things end up going? I snuck out around 10:00...

The pub is a very old building. The sign said rebuilt in 1667, cute. I think the bird was stuffed but I may be wrong. There were lots of little touches to show you how old and quaint the Pub was.
And if that bird wasn't stuffed, he certainly was by the end of the night. But it wasn't me.
posted by Wilder at 10:19 AM on January 13, 2007

Oh I left the pub about 11ish and lots of people were still going strong.

louigi - hi! Never again will I deem any Mefites ignorant of the Golden Ratio.
posted by TheDonF at 10:30 AM on January 13, 2007

louigi, who's the bird sat by you? She is the only one unnamed in the group photo.

Oh yeah, TheDonF, this is the EGG thing that keeps your veggies nice and fresh, and you can get it on eBay.

Cheers randomination- that could come in very handy.

taz: the parrot used to live in the pub and it got stuffed and displayed when it died. My lovely gf thought it would make a good shot and Ant obliged.
Great night out guys...

Wish that the bird had been sitting next to me ... looks like a cool stuffed parrot!

(It's my wife, Rosie. I didn't add a note to the group photo because she's not a MeFite.)

how late did things end up going?

A few of us went to a funny little club after the Cheshire Chuckedusout, and the last of us left there at about 12:20.

Question: Did you refer to each other by your screen names all night or

Those who've been at the last 2 or 3 meetups seem to be starting to use people's real names, but it's still a mish-mash. Of course, there's the chrismear issue to deal with - what do we call him?

paulsc - I'm pretty positive that no one made out with the pub, or vice versa. Sure, it was an attractive building but I, for one, didn't feel it warranted that kind of thing. Maybe next time, tho'

That parrot looks a lot like an owl, stuffed or not./

They're a spectacularly lovely bunch of folks, not a single flameout the whole evening.

jtron, it would blow your mind if I revealed the actual sockpuppet. Sometimes being coherent is wearisome.

I just added my photos to the MeFi London Pool. Sorry for the delay (and lack of labels).

I had a fantastic time. It was great to see those I knew from prior meetups, and great to meet several more people.

Great pics, everyone. I had a blast. Sue, what's up with me looking like a giant-headed mutant in your first photo? Please tell me you were using a fisheye lens or something. Otherwise, I'll have to go cry myself to sleep on my gargantuan pillow.

Yes, that's one of the photos that is trapped on my camera. Sorry.

I'm going to go out and buy a card reader tomorrow, thus guaranteeing that when I arrive back at the house my missing camera cable will be sitting in the middle of my desk.

That looks like an awesome meetup and I'm sorry I missed it. Nice to have it at a pub that's notable enough for Wikipedia.

I bought a card reader. My photos are up.

Featuring the ORLY bird (and her parrot), and, shockingly, only the second photo on Flickr to be tagged with pissingelephant.
