This is cool, but I hope you got miko's permission before revealing her real name (which doesn't appear in her profile) to the community.

I stand corrected; she has revealed it herself before.

* Steals Miko's identity *
* Realizes that means I have to do the RPM thing*
* Gives Miko's identity back *

Thoughtful, amro, but no worries—through last year's RPM effort and her inimitable contribution to the Metafilter Compliation Album (ORDER YOUR COPY TODAY!), Michelle is pretty definitely "out".

Way to go Miko.

Can't post much, too busy working on my opus of a concept album where Captain Piccard is British instead of French.

Malocchio very kindly contacted me to ask. Of course, I'm thrilled once again to advocate for the RPM project, which was transformative for me last year.

This year, though, it's, um...well, let's just say 'sophomore effort' might sum it up. ;) Fortunately, from the sounds of the demos up on MuFi and the RPM site, you can look forward to some excellent things in the works from our fellow MeFi RPMers. As cortex says in Sleepy Pete's thread: Music is awesome.

Hot damn Miko, way to go for it! I look forward to hearing what you come up with, however sophmoric.

Wow. Okay, I'm not that promiscuous in my net-crushes. But jessamyn, miko, and matildaben are among my few longtime mefiverse crushes. And they've all appeared in the national media this year (independently of MeFi, importantly)! Weird.

Anyway, that's very cool, Miko. I really liked the stuff you did for last year's RPM. Maybe what you're working on now will turn out better than you expect.
