TechCrunch posts about Google Answers rising from the dead (as UClue) and mentions a few more question-answering services. Still none as good as AskMe.
I love Ask MeFi, but they don't mention Ask MeFi at all. The post isn't really MeFi related then, is it?

Google charged 50 cents to post.
really? i had no idea. no wonder it tanked.
Uclue will be free to post. Google had answer fees between $2-200 by credit card upon the question’s answer.
HA! oh that's funny. please let me set a bounty on fruitcake recipes! that's just amazing.
Uclue will be in the range of $5-250 paid in advance by PayPal.
Hey, good luck with that, guys. I'm sure you'll do just great.

What objective criteria are you basing this on?

We'd have ended up on that list if AskMe weren't such an unprofessional shade of green.

I don't think Ask MeFi will ever be listed in those sorts of roundups because it's not a business/service devoted to simply question and answer, it's more just a side offshoot of MeFi (even though ask mefi is doing like 2x the traffic of mefi now).

Yahoo Answers is the undisputed leader in the Q&A space
Oh that's rich. I guess being a "leader" to whoever wrote that involves having lots of complete tards posting "HOW I FIND ME DICK?"-type questions.

Close it if you like. The wind changes faster than a tornado around here. I've posted in here about other question asking services before and most people enjoyed the posts.
Eideteker - the criteria that most people on AskMe post well-thought answers and at least have some decent sense of grammar (as opposed to "dood, I brok my windoze now wut do i do?")

Alvy, the linkedin thing was interesting because it was a side-offshoot of a larger service, kinda how mefi and ask mefi work, but this is a roundup of q&a sites and the original post implies that ask mefi is crowned king in the roundup but doesn't get a mention. It's no biggie, but since they don't mention us, I dunno if there's anything to discuss (and we certainly can't simply call ourselves the winners).
