Heh,
You pony!
Sure there is. It's a tiny cameo 3/4 of Miguel with a fine cigar.
Don't you see it?

it's black? I don't get it.
That's just the way it shows up in a browser, when directly linked. In my tool bar it looks like this.

MeFi does have a favicon, you'll see it if you bookmark MeFi in your IE toolbar. However, it seems to like to disappear for no reason. Welcome to IE, I guess.

Favicons disappear when you clear your history or delete temporary internet files, I can't remember which. They don't seem to ever come back, so it's pretty frustrating.

aahh. I remember now, this feature is only going to go into 'proper' mozilla in 0.9.7, until then you have to <link> it. I just got confused after downloading a few different builds. Sorry.
p.s. if you don't know what I mean then open theregister.co.uk and excite.co.uk in different tabs. It's neat and useful.

here's what you do if you're using IE. to make things easy bookmark the site again so it will save the favicon to your drive and then search your drive for favicon*. you'll see favicon[1].ico through favicon[12].ico or as many as you have bookmarked before clearing your history. i'd give you the specific directory they are in but it's different for win98, winME, winXP, NT, win2k, etc. when you see the mefi icon copy it from the temp directory to your permanent directory of choice. rename it from favicon[X].ico to something like mefi.ico. now right click on your mefi bookmark(i hate calling it your favorite) and choose proprties and then change icon. now search the directory where you placed the mefi favicon and you should see mefi.ico and choose that. now in your link bar you should see the mefi favicon and it won't be deleted next time you clear your history.
