NYC Meetup on Saturday? I'll be in town for one night only, and would love to be able to meet the famous NYC MeFites before I head back across the pond.

I'll be staying near JFK airport, so something near A/E/J/Z/LIRR would be best, but really whatever y'all think is best. When do these things usually get started?

Maybe the Dakota Roadhouse? Some might recall ending up there after a previous get together, and fun being had. Roomy, cheap, A train on the block.

Sorry, grouse. Here's me saying a friendly NYC hi to you now since I'll be shaking my groove thing at the same show yeti and youcancallmeal will be at.

It's almost like there'll be a simultaneous mini LCD Soundsystem Mefi meetup going on...except none of us are planning to meet each other there.

Actually I forgot that I have a party in Brooklyn that I was invited to weeks ago. But I'm coming from Hoboken, so I could stop by for an hour or so on my way there.

Looks like I will be around, too. Now, even if this is a sparse meetup let's everyone report on the viability of this spot for future events. There's a whole upstairs floor that may be available for a larger group. 8 pm, yo.

Not going to make it. Been at the office all day, returning in the morning, home is Hoboken, and I didn't realize the meetup spot was in Brooklyn, which means a much longer trip for me. Next time.

It was a great meetup (and it was in Manhattan, bingo, sorry you couldn't make it). Pictures probably after I get back to the UK. It was fun meeting y'all.
