I have decided to risk certain death and propose another scottish meetup - none of which will be as good as the one in glasgow ages ago.

true, which is why i suggest we get all morningsidey and go to jenners,eat cream buns, drink earl grey tea, arrive in fur coats, that sort of thing - it's a kind of atonement on our part.

I'm actually going to be in Scotland from the 19th through the 26th, so if you all end up settling on a weeknight during that week, before I leave (no Net access probably) I might have a snowball's chance in hell of attending. We'll be based out of Perth, I think.

Not to my knowledge, but we did a Northern* meet-up once in Manchester. I'm not sure it's ever been repeated, but I'm (almost certainly) moving back there soon, so perhaps it'll be time to revive it...

*For the purpose of this comment, "Northern" refers to "the England north of London" as opposed to the UK as a whole...
