LA Meetup. Dear LA MeFites, let's have a meetup next weekend, on Saturday, July 28th! In case, you don't consider the success of the last one a good enough reason, DaShiv will be in town and wants to make good on his promise.
I'm a man of my word. And I'll be bringing my cameras this time around.

I am so looking forward to a few months from now when I can come to LA meetups. I'll be one of those annoying AZ transplants driving like a grandma's asshole come October. See y'all then!

Probably can't make it -- a friend (also from the bay area!) will be in town and I think Saturday plans are already set. But if we can drop by, we will.

Returning from an out-of-town trip that night and have a gig the following morning... but I'll drop by for half an hour or so to say hi.

I dropped by the Mandrake today, and it is pretty interesting. But, it is tiny...
I also did a sweep of the bars near where I live, and here are a couple of possibilities:
O'Brien's Irish Pub - nice, but crowded.
The Shack - zero atmosphere, but no crowds, and lots of parking.
Also, I guess we could always go back to Boardwalk 11.
So, any thoughts/votes, before I make an executive decision. :)

It was a small, yet most excellent, meetup. Like many good things, it ended in karaoke.

Of all the new faces from the last LA meetup that I promised to photograph tonight, none of you dropped by take me up on my offer. So, no photographs from me this time around! Ironically, the six of us who were present turned it into one of the best meetups I've ever been to in terms of conversation and socializing. So it's too bad that you've missed out.
But still, I hate you all forever -- until the next meetup where every single one of you that missed this one will show up.

That was a blast, it was great seeing everyone again and lovely meeting the quite unimportant's. Also, I recommend The Gas Lite for all your drunken karaoke needs. Let's have more new faces next time!
