Metafilter is my main source for good links, honestly. I don't read any other linkblogs regularly; mostly my pleasure reading is a few topical blogs I like for various reasons (language log, freakonomics, talkingpointsmemo, etc) and lighter stuff like Comics Curmudgeon, all of which is great reading but not something I'd really post about since someone else has gotten there first.
I'm not really a primary-research kind of guy, as web content goes—I like having more motivated, knack-having people do the footwork so I can just sit back and dig into their treasure. I've said before that I cheat on the rare occasions that I do post—either pulling things from Projects when they really catch my fancy, or posting (with maybe a little bit of extra background research when it makes sense) entertaining links that people drop in IRC, if someone else hasn't beaten me to the punch. posted by cortex at 4:08 PM on August 25, 2007
