Holy crap! TPS is a girl!

Why do all the males have messenger bags? Was that preplanned?

Stynxo's girlfriend = TPS = the one with The Hat.

They're hipster internet nerds, a combination I hadn't even considered until I saw these photos. (No offense.)

Mine will be up shortly (and what's wrong with messenger bags!?!)

Man, I'm sorry I missed it. Weird, though - I think I took the exact same picture from the Wonder Wheel back in 2002. You probably had the benefit of not having an alternative publisher rocking your car, though.

"Waiting for bumper cars, the metatalk of the carnival world" needs to be integrated into metatalk somehow. It's just too damn awesome.

I am pretty sure that description applies to 97 percent of NYC MeFites.

kkokkodalk, please always wear your hair like that.

They're hipster internet nerds, a combination I hadn't even considered until I saw these photos. (No offense.)

So is the potential offense that you wish to ward off:

1. the offense of being called a nerd?
2. the offense of being called a hipster?
3. some additional, combinatory offense that would accompany being called both at once but which might not accompany one or the other in isolation?
or 4. the offense of not realizing until just now that this combination might exist, sort of akin to the offense that might be taken at a statement like "I hadn't realized there were any Black Jews" or "I hadn't even considered the possibility of gay Republicans."

Please elucidate.

Also: I'm sorry I missed the meetup (especially after saying I would come: TPS). My two days between traveling to Montreal and then (today) traveling to London made the thought of traveling to Coney Island yesterday too daunting to attempt.

It appears that the search for sharks missed one.

How does one leave those little comments that refer to one small portion of a picture? My Flickr-fu is tiny.
