Want to post, don't have privileges

i'm not grown up enough yet to post to the main page, but i have this fascinating link that's burning a hole in my browser... what should i do?

Patience is a virtue. If the link is really great, it will find its way here. If you wish to obtain the credit for the link, consider your motivations. Are they for the greater glory of MetaFilter or the great glory of yourself?

Wait. If it's that cool, it'll still be cool when you can post. If someone else posts it first, input your unique perspective on the topic without yelling out that you had it first -- because it's about the links, not the glory. Glory kills.
