Recent Activity bug November 4, 2007 9:56 AM   Subscribe

"Recent Activity" bugginess: older posts showing up after my more recent post in the Tut thread. The timestamps are all messed up on that page, but seem OK and are in order in the post itself.

I refreshed a few times, and it's still wonky.

Example:

...I really liked the book we got from the exhibition though.

But did they build a Wah-Wah Hut to display it as the gods intended?

"Carter and his team cut the body into pieces, chopping off the limbs and head"

Rest in pieces, Tut dude.

Craniofacial anthropometry and the use of the term negroid. Interesting.

I always thought the reconstruction would reveal he was more Negroid than Semitic but it's fascinating anyway.

It's the stupid time change in the US, and you just happened to have comments in a thread overlapping that way.

I thought it might be something like that- doesn't bother me, just thought I'd bring it up in case it was a symptom of something more significant.

The resulting time flap allowed me to finish two loads of laundry in four minutes and then cook and eat a chicken pot pie before taking it out of the freezer.

Thank you, MetaFilter!

I'd really be pissed off if they didn't give us that time back in the fall.
Except it will take longer to do laundry.

Hi, I'm from the future! It's so quaint that you're all still "alive".

Good luck with that!

It's the biggest scam: in the fall, you set the clocks back, giving you an extra hour, but it means you just sleep through it. Then in the spring, you lose an hour because it gets earlier.

and earlier today, but not anymore, recent posts in "Recent Activity" showed up with no time stamp. this site, as beautiful as it is, is always a work in progress.
