This pony is mostly decorative
On the Recent Activity page, where it says "X Comments. Y since your most recent comment." Could it also say "Most recent: Z time ago." or somesuch? [more inside]
Anchors for deleted comments
Since the megathreads are so long and cause problems with mobile browsers occasionally reloading the page, I've found it easiest to "checkpoint" my place by occasionally clicking on the timestamps so that my browser will update the URL to have the anchor of that comment. That way if the page is accidentally reloaded it will go back somewhere near the right location. If I'm unlucky enough to click on a comment that is deleted due to moderation, the anchor goes away and I must endlessly scroll hoping to find where I left off. Is it possible for the anchor tags for deleted posts be preserved into either the next comment or maybe the [moderators comment] that removed it?
Contact Activity Clock Issues?
Is there something wrong with the timestamps on Contact Activity? [more inside]
Time stamp for posterity.
Could we get a time stamp added to deletion reasons? They are the only type of comment that isn't time stamped, so all we know is that the deletion occurred sometime after the last comment (or sometime between posting and any comments).
timestamp becomes a loop
I use comment time stamps as bookmarks on a thread to return to that spot, but they're not working like they used to. [more inside]
Time stamp for comments/posts
A suggestion: can there be a time stamp indicating the time when a post or comment is posted (e.g. "posted 2 1/2 hours ago") next to the date? [more inside]
Recent Activity bug
"Recent Activity" bugginess: older posts showing up after my more recent post in the Tut thread. The timestamps are all messed up on that page, but seem OK and are in order in the post itself. [more inside]
GMT is one hour off
Probably because of the US move to DST, the time stamp in GMT is one hour off (so that posts and comments are showing as having been made up to an hour in the future).
Timestamp Bug
Hello, admins. It is just a tiny bug; I posted to #51093 at 12:01, the comment was timed at 12:04.
Database server clock error bungling comment sequence
Just now in a comment I tried to include a link to a URL which contained a seven-letter word beginning with "f" that has become an epithet for those on the right side of the political spectrum. I tried to post it twice and both times when I hit "post" the screen refreshed but my post didn't show up. Is there some sort of filtration going on? Shouldn't I be told?
How to link to a comment
I've noticed that some people have a way to link not just to another MeFi page, but to call up a specific comment within the page, which will then appear at the top of the window. I've been unable to discover how this is done. Can anyone help?
The timezone slips occasionally.
PST slippage in the blue... Occasionally my time reference on MeFi gets whacked back to PST, though my preferences are EST. When I see the problem, I edit my profile (changing nothing), submit and ta-da, EST. Don't need no pony, just bringing it up. Happens ~ once a month.
Timezone bug.
Timezone confusion; though my prefs are set for Eastern time, timestamps are coming up PST. ?
Bug in the timestamps in MeFi tabs.
When I view the front page in a mode other than "date" (ie "most comments", etc), the times in GMT are out by 8 hours.
The 'local time' feature doesn't seem to be sticky
The 'local time' feature introduced a while back doesn't seem to be sticky. [more]...
Timestamps
Would it be very difficult to add a date/time stamp to the "jump to the comment in this thread" links in the "All Comments by (Username)" listing? It would be tremendously useful in tracking living threads.
Expand the timestamp to include the year, please.
I know this had been requested here before, but if it is not too much trouble, can we have a year stamp added to the time stamp for each post?
Case in point, MiguelCardoso's this post was posted on the same date, but two years after the original thread started.

Daylight timestamp
I notice that all of the timestamps say 9:34 PST and yet in the Pacific time zone it's definitely Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Is that right? Is it actually corrected PST (which doesn't take into account daylight savings time so as not to confuse some of our International and Arizonan friends) or the wrong PST (which is actually PDT but was just stuck on there cuz it's cool).
