Wellington needs a meetup.
If my vague search of metatalk is to be believed, it has been years since the glorious MeFites of Wellington had a meetup. Years, people. So I've taken it upon myself to organise one (before I leave. And Infinite Jest leaves too. Anyone else leaving?).
Mighty Mighty is marvelous. So we should go there. (104 Cuba Street)
And I propose the only slightly arbitrary March 19th.

My fiancee and I wouldn't mind going to a Mefi meetup, but we're in Palmy and work during the week.

Oh pants. March 22nd is inside Easter weekend. Wait.. Is that pants, or is that a good thing? I just. Don't. Know.
(I can sort-of make March 15th, however I am wandering off to see a concert; so I won't be around long enough to have too much to drink and say something inappropriate.)

I can show up whenever. I had figured on five-ish. If people were intending on showing up earlier, I can show up earlier. If people were intending on showing up later, then I'd do that too (:
Probably I'll wear bunny ears. Or maybe a plastic tiara. Both is not out of the question.

But....I am working till possibly 7.30, and may also have to be home after that to sort out someone who is picking up some furniture. So it's not looking too good for an early meetup, I'm afraid. I'll try to get down there, anyway.

I'm going to be in JJ Murphy's because my girlfriend scheduled a meetup of her friends there at the same time. So that's an option? Or Good Luck maybe?
