Calling all MeFi Xbox360 gamers. I'm going to maintain an Xbox gamertag for us to make it easy to find other Mefites to game with using the Friends of a Friend feature on Live.
First, send a friend request to "MeFi Friends".
Now that you have sent a friend request to MeFi Friends, and been accepted, you are now ready to start using it. Go to your Xbox friends list and look for the gamertag "MeFi Friends". Click on this gamertag. You will see two tabs up top - Gamer Profile and Personal Profile. Select the Personal Profile the click on the 'View Friends'. This will show you a list of all the other people that are also currently on the "MeFi Friends" Friends of Friends list. You can use this list to find all the other MeFites that are currently on Xbox Live, making it much easier to find people to game with.
My GT is "Cruel Wind"

This is a good idea, a centralized account is utilized by a gaming forum I visit to get around the 100 friends hard limit, as well. Seeing as how it's not going to get any easier around here any time soon, I applaud this development.

The only problem I see with this is that the central MeFi gamertag will be limited to 100 friends. If more than that want to join up, we'll have to make a back-up name and have everyone add that account to their list, too. Still, there's less than fifty names on the Wiki list, so it shouldn't be that big of a worry for the time being.

Sweet, thanks for this, really. I've been looking for people I can reliably game with, since my of my RL friends have Wii's.

Bomberman looks fun. Do I lose my "gamer cred" if i say I've never played bomberman? I don't know if that's true, honestly. Maybe I played Bomberman 64. Cred returned!

I'm not really a FPS guy (and I've never played Halo 3, but neither of the first two were to my taste), but I love multiplayer. Is CoD4 worth getting, or should I just wait patiently for GTA and Soul Calibur 4?
