Please send good thoughts out to longtime mefi user nickyskye, undergoing a tough cancer battle and in surgery today. Via Brandon' Blatcher's Projects post.

I wish her all the very best.
I've never spoken to her since I'm mostly quiet here, but I always read her posts and comments with interest as she's one of the most amazing contributors to this place.

Thank you for pointing out the page, I will keep checking back (and have donated a small amount).

I wish nickyskye the best hopes for an uneventful surgery and recovery. People who want to be updated should probably find a way to stay in touch over on Brandon's site. MetaTalk being what it is, these sorts of announcements/updates are probably not suited for here in the long run.
