This is the first podcast I've listened to, and it was great. I have a submission for Gus, the Gumbaby woman, but it looks like the comments are closed. Anyway, it's a link to a web page where people think they are leaving messages for Bill Murray and it's a hoot. Hope she sees it. BTW, Jessamyn, you have a great musical laugh. posted by fixedgear at 9:03 AM on May 10
Wait, you're only loud when talking about ROFLCON, which must be some kind of meta-statement about the internet. posted by synaesthetichaze at 9:07 AM on May 10
huh, I tried a bunch of "Bill Murray [keyword]" searches and it looks like that blog entry comes up in the top 4 results when you put "write Bill Murray" into Google. The first three are obvious bio pages about Bill Murray, so maybe people are posting on the blog because it appears a human wrote it and it looks like a personal essay from Bill (that is being quoted, but blockquotes are subtle) and there's a big comment form below. posted by mathowie at 9:31 AM on May 10
A few people have left messages for Mohamed al-Fayed. posted by fixedgear at 9:54 AM on May 10
Good job as always.
The music was fantastic, and I'm now a fan of Kristy London and the Other Halves. posted by Fuzzy Skinner at 11:39 AM on May 10
Maybe not the right place to post this, but the top 10 favorite projects page is borked.
My project just shows up as the date, without the title. posted by Afroblanco at 4:01 PM on May 10
Afroblanco, you were the guy mentioned with no Title on your project. I'll go add one. posted by mathowie at 4:23 PM on May 10
Jessamyn, you didn't ever visit the Hampshire College yurt?! It's insulated, temperature-controlled, and is wired for the internet! posted by gusandrews at 4:52 PM on May 10

I agree with Matt about the preponderance of web jobs! I may post to MeTa to urge more sharing of library/arts/culture jobs. I know they're out there and I know you folks know about 'em! posted by Miko at 9:28 AM on May 12
The song at the end of the podcast was very nice. posted by mmascolino at 11:25 AM on May 12
Dude. I was wondering why my storm recording got a flurry of favorites a couple days ago! Thanks for the include. And yeah, I wish it was longer. posted by zsazsa at 3:59 PM on May 12
I just went from thinking "I could maybe tape some waves sometime" to thinking "gah, sudden freakin' heatwave, I should go to the beach RIGHT NOW." I'm off to Ocean Beach. Wish me luck! posted by Pronoiac at 6:09 PM on May 14
Currently uploading, the sound of the waves. About an hour's worth.

I just love this podcast. That is all. posted by SassHat at 1:35 PM on May 18
death of the author man
I read this as if an analogue of "Death of a Salesman". Like maybe the world-shaking 57th issue of Author Man's series, in which he is killed by a vengeful publisher. posted by cortex at 2:00 PM on May 18
I just got a chance to listen to this today. You guys did a great job. That was so fun, so true, and mostly so funny. You guys should get a show on Comedy Central - Stewart, Colbert, West/Haughey. posted by caddis at 5:29 PM on May 18
