Bal'more meetup, hon?

I've just moved out from Southern California, so I've absolutely no idea where to suggest, but I think its been a few months since a Baltimore meet-up. Any suggestions from the locals regarding past meet-up spots that were local favorites or new adventures anyone would be dying to try? I've only been out to explore a few places for drinks/dining (e.g. The Brewer's Art, Joe Squared). Dates are absolutely open, so would something in the next week or two work for anyone/everyone willing?

I'm coming up for Nightwish at Rams Head next Friday. I'd probably stick around for a Saturday meetup if Saturday meets anybody's whatever for thingy.

I'm down for a Saturday, Sunday or Monday night.
If you haven't been, the Windup Space, in my experience, it's a good place to get a drink and talk. (Only been there once, though.) It's on the other side of North Avenue from Joe Squared and between Charles and St. Paul.

Heh. I remember reading about the Baltimore ",hon" thing in one of John Water's books, Shock Value, yeah that's it. Wish I could be there, I live in your true "sister city" Oakland. Have fun.

So the general consensus would be that Saturday (27th) at The Windup Space would work for everyone? 8p?

Saturdays are generally bad for me (Saturday's a rugby day). Sunday, Monday or Friday evenings are better.

I'll do my best. I'll be over on the eastern shore for part of the afternoon, but I can probably make it back by 8. If I can't make it, take lots of pictures so I can either:

1. See how lame it was and be glad I didn't go.
2. See how awesome it was and resent you jerks for not including me.

Windup is great, I will be there Saturday in any case for the jazz. But thinking it may be a bit loud that night? Also, Windup is not open Sundays at this point. Also, (full disclosure) the owner there is a close friend. So...?
Oh and on re-preview, it's actually between Charles and Maryland (west of Charles, not east toward St. Paul.)
