Two weeks ago I signed up with a new username, expecting to be able to post an AskMe right away (I was going to use that account exclusively after that). Sadly, I forgot the rules from when I signed up the first time and needed to wait a week to post a question. So now it sits unused, but ready in case I want to abandon this one. Maybe something similar happened with methinks.

Out it comes gloss black and badder than Satan the 454 thundering and everyone on the sidewalk cowering like a bunch of 5 yearolds hearing daddy's skill saw for the first time. Of course then you go to fill it up and it looks like driving 20 mile is gonna cost you $150 so all your time biding may have been a waste, but still a guy can dream can't he?

Back when Mefi was free, I signed up three of my friends with accounts and NONE of them ever, ever used them. Now I just use them to have discussions with myself.

jack was actually brought back from the dead by a password-guessing jack_mo, who made that joke and then immediately and contritely told us what he'd done and blamed it on beer, and Matt closed the dang thing down.
