Lyon meetup

Anyone up for a meetup in Lyon, France sometime this month?

I don't know how many MeFites are around here, but thought I'd ask!

And I propose Cafe Bout du Monde if we meet up on a weekday (very chill, not too crowded).

I'm in Paris and i don't know when I'll be in Lyon, but I'm kinda determined to get there before summer. I must pay homage to the Bernachon house o' chocolat.

Anyway, if a meetup falls through this time, do try again sometime this winter/spring. I might be able to make it.

December 17 at Cafe Bout du Monde sounds great to me! What time is good for you? 6pm? 7pm? (I think they close at 9pm on Wednesdays...but we could always move elsewhere after if need be)

Also, LMGM, I am totally going to Bernachon's chocolate shop now!

From what I've had there (I spent 2 weeks bumming around and using their free WiFi), IIRC, it's not terrible expensive.

I remember that wine is standard generally cheap price, you can get a bottle of nice-ish beer for 3.90 (kinda pricey but they have Guinness which made me happy) or a cheaper draft beer (don't remember the price of that). They also have pots of tea (that hold 2 cups) for 3 euros.

Nuts. Turns out I'll be working that night. If you guys want to grab a beer afterward around Vieux Lyon I'd be up for it. I'll probably be at work until midnight or so.

Still on! I'll be in jeans, black shirt, red coat. Might write MetaFilter on a piece of paper and prop it up. I probably can't make it later for a beer in Vieux Lyon, though - have to wake up at 6 for work.
