Not seeing immediate "best answers" when page refreshes after marking them
I was handing out some best answers to an old askme, but no indication is given once you have clicked on "mark as best answer." The page does refresh when you click the best answer link but nothing has changed, try as I might to put a little rock into the answerer's world.
This seems to be a time delay thing--it's taking about ten seconds for the best answers to actually register. If you wait that long and refresh the page, you can see that the answer was indeed marked. (Perhaps as many as fifty times, depending on how impatient you were.) Since the "mark as best answer" link is still on the answer you marked as best on the refreshed-but-not-yet-aware-of-the-best-answer-just-marked page, well, it confuses sad old men like me. Even more than this paragraph has confused the rest of you.
Maybe use an ajax thingy for best answers (which would give immediate feedback that the best answer was clicked, at least) to avoid confusion? or at least throw a warning message in there somewhere?

This is probably another post-injection caching thing, I don't recall it being that way before. And of COURSE I'll have dinner with you!

This should be working now. Yep, it was another caching issue. We're still cleaning these up around the site. Thanks for letting us know.

You can still have some ajax if you want, though.
