The people with mathowie's hair went in one direction, but another group had mathowie's shoe and they formed their own center of worship, similar to Metafilter, but with less emphasis on hair.

This is very disappointing, but I'm going to keep imagining mathowie as a pre-diet Seth Rogen living in an Airstream trailer on concrete blocks (surrounded by tall grass and weeds) on his mother's farm in Iowa. No semi-professional bicycling or anything.
